In order to be able to work with EDM Electronic Data Management, your general company data (e.g. company name, company registration number, address, email, etc.) must be provided in an online registration request. This registration request will be transmitted to the federal authority after completion.
In addition to your general company data, it is particularly important to properly indicate the applicable role (e.g. waste collector and handler, first producer of hazardous waste, etc.). The specified role(s) will determine which reporting application will be activated for your company.
After completing the registration request, your personal access data in the form of
- Username
- Password
- GLN
will be sent to you by mail within a few working days.
The GLN (13-digit identification number) can be used immediately upon receipt of the letter (e.g. on a consignment bill when disposing your waste).
With the access data (username and password) you can log on to the start page at edm.gv.at to access the entries of your company.
Note: Only after logging in with user name and password on the EDM homepage your registration is completed.
